How to Raise a Complaint

A friendly HVAC provider checking an outdoor air conditioner beside a Stamford home

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Eighthunt Heating & Air to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

Topics You Can Raise

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when calling or contacting Eighthunt Heating & Air
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Issue Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed from it. Please know that Eighthunt Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Filing Your Complaint

Email contact@eighthunt.lat and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write to Us

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For issues with HVAC contractors, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
